About Azure Active Directory

Linking TribeCRM with Azure AD using SCIM allows you to manage users centrally from Azure AD. It is useful when you want to automate creating, updating, blocking, and removing users without manual work in Tribe. You might use this setup when Azure AD is your primary identity management system.

Azure Active Directory features

  • Automatic user provisioning — New Azure AD users get full TribeCRM records (Account, User, Employee, and Person) created automatically
  • Smart account linking — Existing TribeCRM accounts are matched by email and linked, preventing duplicates
  • Name synchronization — First name and last name changes in Azure AD are synced to TribeCRM
  • Automatic blocking — Deactivated Azure AD users are blocked in TribeCRM
  • Automatic deactivation — Deleted Azure AD users are soft-deleted and unlinked from their Employee record
  • SSO or standalone — Works with or without Single Sign-On; without SSO, new users receive an activation email to set their password
  • Easy setup — Activate from the Marketplace, copy Tenant URL and Secret Token into Azure AD
